BRIGHTON ROAD - CANNABIS CULTIVATION

This week, the Gorseinon Neighbourhood Policing team located a property on Brighton Road, which had been converted for cultivation of cannabis.

Information provided by local residents played a key role in building a picture of what was taking place in the area and enabled officers to carry out targeted enquires.

Cultivation equipment at the property has been dismantled and a large amount of cannabis has been removed.

A 24-year-old man from Gorseinon has been arrested and charged with an offence under the Misuse of Drugs Act and has been remanded in custody.
